On December 10, 2022, the official presentation of Scratch Jr Tactile took place, in the meeting room of the Montserrat Abelló Library in the Corts neighborhood in Barcelona, Spain.
The event was attended by representatives of the education sector, public and private entities, the Scratch Foundation, teachers, among other attendees, and topics of vital importance to our society were addressed such as: the reduction of inequalities and the reduction of the digital gap, the accessibility of educational digital environments, and the challenges of the education sector in terms of inclusion and accessibility.
One of the most exciting moments of the day was the donation of Scratch Jr Kits. Tactile at different schools and organizations in the city of Barcelona.
Its creators stated: "Scratch Jr Tactile is not just an educational resource, IT IS A GLOBAL MOVEMENT FOR EQUITY", and called on all attendees to join to make "quality education available for everyone".
